City Proposes 30 Regional Regulation Drafts to Bapemperda

Jakarta Provincial Government through Legal Bureau has proposed 30 Regional Regulation Drafts (Raperda) during January-September 2019 period to Jakarta Council's Legislation Body (Bapemperda).

In addition to proposals from the executives, Bapemperda Deputy Chairman, Dedi Supriyadi said that it is still very possible for his side to receive inputs related to Raperda from Councillors.
"We are optimistic and will work optimally to complete those Raperda and ratify it into Perda. In 2018, total 11 Raperda have been ratified into Perda," he said at Jakarta DPRD Building, Friday (11/7).
Bapemperda to Soon Discuss Propemperda 2020Thus, he continued, his side will determine the priority scales for Raperda that need to be followed up immediately.
"Our target is to do it optimally. Hopefully, we can do more than last year," he expressed.
According to him, Raperda that is categorized as a prior should have huge impact for the interests of Jakarta residents. For example is related to Electronic Road Pricing (ERP).
"ERP will give huge impact to regional revenue, efforts to minimize congestion, and also encourage people to use public transport," he asserted.
